On January 17^th, 60 minutes told your story entitled, “Football Island”.  While we are sure that the video was an eye opening piece to all the people who watched it, the executives at Foundation Financial Group were truly moved by it to say the least!  We found that the players, coaches, and parents in the segment possessed the core characteristics that we strive for as a company each and every day.  We witnessed humility, loyalty, discipline, exceptional work ethic, and above all other things, a society that embraces and utilizes what they are given, and refuses to crutch on the things they are not.  Your story inspired us and reminded us that the difficulties we face may be tough, but they are not insurmountable!  We may have to work harder and longer today to reach the goals of the past, but you also reminded us that “hard work” and “long hours” are relative terms. 

Foundation Financial Group prides its self on being a company that gives back.  We have taken part in numerous events to help the people of our own communities as well as worthy causes abroad.  With that said, we are excited to tell you that we organized a week long “production drive” in order to donate helmets, pads, or uniforms to the players at your school.

FFG is made up of 32 teams, in 10 regions, and 4 divisions throughout the southeastern United States.  Each of the 32 teams had a minimum production goal to reach for the week, if they hit that goal; a donation of practice equipment has been made in their name to one of your players.  The drive was held from Monday February 1^st through Saturday February 6^th throughout the entire company.  At the end of this letter you will see the name of the Team Leader, and the team members of that team, that went over and above to hit the goal required to make a donation!

In closing, we would like to thank you for sharing your story and let you know that it was an inspiration to our company and its people. We are all faced with difficult times right now, but with the proper attitude, outlook, and sheer determination you have reminded us that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
